Offshore QROPS Launch New Deal for Accountants

The conference was an excellent opportunity for members for the Offshore QROPS team to meet UK accountants from around the country and add value to their businesses.

Many UK accountants have clients, who are either considering or imminently moving overseas, that have accrued UK pension funds. Offshore QROPS can offer an alternative, for many of these clients, from being fixed into purchasing an annuity and paying tax on the income.

The response that the members of the Offshore QROPS team received, from those accountants who attended the conference, was positive. Our stand at the event was frequently visited and many queries regarding overseas pension transfers were raised. Many of these questions were prompted by QROPS being part of the conference agenda, as one of the innovative ideas that accountants can look at for clients with UK pensions. The company’s details and service offering were also included as part of the delegate’s conference pack – prompting further interest.

As well as being part of the conference, Offshore QROPS were present at the Gala dinner and charity auction that followed.

The company donated to the charity auction a ticket, in the Royal Box, for the Australia versus Barbarians Rugby Union match that will be played at Wembley Stadium later this year.

The Offshore QROPS team also met England World Cup Winner, Jack Charlton, who was the guest speaker at the dinner.

The conference finished, the following day, with more questions regarding UK pensions and the value of QROPS to accountant’s clients, being answered.
