QNUPS as well as QROPS
Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (QROPS) were introduced on 6th April 2006. These schemes have opened up UK pensions for migrants.
In addition we now have Qualifying Non UK Pension Schemes (QNUPS). QNUPS can provide even greater benefits to those expatriates who have had more than 5 complete and consecutive tax years outside of the UK. Please watch this space for more information regarding QNUPS and their specific benefits (coming soon).
